For people with Alopecia, hair pigmentation is a great option. The scalp of people suffering from Alopecia need even more precision than usual when performing the micro hair pigmentation technique.
Many people have profited from this treatment by MHP Center Holland. The practitioner has even given a lecture about the technique at the Erasmus hospital in Rotterdam. He is specialised in pigmentation of the scalp of people with Alopecia, in combination with the UFT-method. Next to that, our practitioner is specialised in tattooing permanent make-up. This comes in handy because many people with Alopecia choose to tattoo their eyebrows permanently. Eyebrows can be done so realistic, it is difficult to tell whether it is real or pigmented with a 3D-effect.
When suffering from Alopecia, the treatment is extended. Especially the neck and contours get special focus.
Hair loss as a consequence of Alopecia is a very common condition. At Tattoo Bob we understand that this often goes hand in hand with feeling insecure. Luckily we can camouflage these bald spots with Micro Hair Pigmentation (MHP). During a MHP-treatment de hair follicles are tattooed on the scalp which causes the bald spots to be not or hardly visible anymore. This type of tattoo is also known as a stubble tattoo.
Like the term implies, for the stubble tattoo, little stubbles are tattooed on the scalp. You won’t be able to tell them apart from real ones. The technique for this tattoo is developed especially for people (men and female) with Alopecia.
MHP (micro hair pigmentation) is a very special technique that should only be carried out by specialists. Our experienced artist has specialised himself in permanent make-up and this stubble tattoo. TheMHP-treatment is done with the special settings on the tattoo-equipment, needles and the right pigments.
What is Alopecia?
Alopecia is a condition that causes hair loss and baldness. Alopecia often brings a lot of insecurity. Alopecia is the general name for baldness and appears in two different ways:
Next to these 2 types of Alopecia, there are 5 other types:
Alopecia Areata starts with bald spots on the head. These spots arise due to inflammations of the hair roots. The big bald spots can expand to the rest of the body, often also affecting the eyelashes and eyebrows. Both men and women can get this type of Alopecia.
There are 3 gradations of Alopexia Areata:
Alopecia Areate: local baldness
Alopecia Totalis: Mostly baldness on the scalp
Alopecia Universalis: no hair growth at all
Another word for this type of baldness is ‘male baldness’. Yet it is also possible for women to get Alopecia Androgenetica. This type of Alopecia is a common type of permanent hair loss. Unfortunately this is a irreversible process.
Alopecia Cicatricialis is a type of baldness caused by scar-tissue which doesn’t allow hair to grow on.
Alopecia Diffusa causes sudden hair loss on the entire scalp. This is mostly temporary and the hair will grow back again.
Pseudopelae of Broncq
This is a special type of Alopecia Cicatricialis.
Trichotillomania is an impulse control disorder where people have a very strong urge to pull out their own hair. Often the eyelashes and eyebrows are affected as well as the hair on the head.
No matter what type of Alopecia one suffers from, this condition can cause a lot of insecurity. We are pleased to help you to get rid of this insecurity by implementing our own Micro Hair Pigmentation-technique.
